Step Bros Cleaning & Services started as a joke — and turned into something way more real than we ever expected. We're not your average cleaners. We’re your favorite cousins who show up in themed outfits, help reset your space, and maybe cry with you in the kitchen if it’s that kind of day.

We offer light cleaning, odd jobs, party cleanups, tech setup, organization, and moving prep — always with a two-person crew, full consent, and a hell of a lot of heart. We’re bonded. We’re insured. We show up on time. And we actually care about what kind of day you're having.

But under the matching shirts and chaotic good energy is something deeper:
Step Bros was built for the people who don’t usually get picked.
The neurospicy ones. The ones with resumes full of gaps. The ones who needed a reason to get up in the morning — and a way to survive without changing who they are.

We’ve created a low-barrier, high-trust job model where people can thrive with structure, safety, and a sense of belonging. It’s not just a gig — it’s a gateway. And it’s working.

That’s why we’re proudly tied to our nonprofit, Austin Take A Chance Organization (ATACO) — which delivers resource kits and hope to displaced folks across the city. Every Step Bros booking helps support that mission. So even when we don’t lead with the charity piece, it’s always there, working quietly in the background — just like our people.

We also give a sh*t about the planet.
We're not zero-waste saints, but we’re making conscious moves toward better choices: reusable cloths, nontoxic cleaners, and low-waste methods wherever we can manage it. Eco-conscious(ish), because messes don’t need to mess up the earth, either.

Each Bro on our team is background-checked, covered under our insurance and bond, and trained in consent-first service. We match our crews based on vibe, skill, and energy — because this business isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up and doing the work with honesty, humor, and heart.
