AGREEMENT
At Step Bros. Cleaning & Services, we believe in keeping things fresh, respectful, and fully consensual — both in your space and in our service. To protect your comfort, privacy, and peace of mind (as well as our crew’s), we ask that all clients review and agree to our Consent, Safety & Service Agreement before booking.
It’s not just fine print — it’s part of the promise that we show up safe, respectful, and ready to make your space sparkle with no funny business (unless it’s the fun kind).
This Residential Services Consent, Safety, and Non-Solicitation Waiver Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Step Bros. Cleaning & Services, LLC, a Texas limited liability company with principal operations in Travis County (“Service Provider”), and the undersigned individual (“Client”), collectively referred to as the “Parties.”
1. Scope of Services
The Service Provider shall render residential cleaning, organizing, and non-licensed moving assistance (“Services”) at the Client’s private residence. Services are provided by employees or independent contractors acting under the direction and policies of the Service Provider.
Client acknowledges that:
· - Services are strictly non-sexual in nature and shall not involve, imply, or include any erotic, adult entertainment, or sexual activity whatsoever.
· - Any request for or engagement in such conduct shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate service termination and legal reporting where applicable.
2. Mutual Consent and Right to Terminate
The Parties mutually acknowledge that the provision and receipt of services require an atmosphere of mutual consent, safety, and professional respect.
Either Party can, at any time, terminate or withdraw from service for any reason, including but not limited to discomfort, concern for personal safety, or breach of boundaries, without penalty.
Upon termination by either Party, any payment obligations shall be prorated based on services rendered up to the point of termination, excluding pre-paid deposits when applicable.
3. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
All personnel providing services under this Agreement are contractually bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the Service Provider.
The Client’s name, address, contact information, service details, and any personal matters observed on-site are considered confidential and shall not be shared with any third party without express, written consent or legal obligation.
Breach of confidentiality may result in disciplinary action, termination of staff, or referral to law enforcement if appropriate.
4. Non-Solicitation of Sexual Services
The Client affirms and agrees that they shall not:
· - Solicit, suggest, or engage in any dialogue or conduct of a sexual, erotic, or adult entertainment nature with any personnel representing the Service Provider;
· - Offer compensation, services, or gratuities in exchange for any act outside the stated scope of services.
Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of services, forfeiture of any pre-paid fees, and potential legal action.
5. Pet policy
For the safety of our contractors and the well-being of your pets, all animals must be secured or supervised during the scheduled cleaning appointment. Clients are required to disclose the presence, type, and temperament of any pets at the time of booking.
Step Bros. Cleaning & Services reserves the right to decline or terminate service, without refund, if an animal poses a threat, interferes with the cleaning process, or has not been properly disclosed in advance.
Clients assume full responsibility for any injuries, allergic reactions, or damages caused by pets on the premises. Step Bros. and its contractors will not be held liable for pet-related incidents, including escape, stress-related illness, or injury unless caused by demonstrable negligence on our part.
By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge and accept this pet policy in full.
6. Indemnification and Release of Liability
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service Provider, its employees, contractors, managers, and agents from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from:
· - Misrepresentation of the scope of services;
· - Any conduct outside the professional boundaries set forth in this Agreement;
· - Third-party misinterpretation or allegations relating to the nature of services provided at the premises.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
The Parties hereby agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
8. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements, representations, or understandings.
No amendment or modification shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both Parties.
9. Acknowledgment
By signing below, both Parties affirm they have read, understood, and voluntarily entered into this Agreement. Each Party affirms they are legally competent and of sound mind to consent to this Agreement.
10. Liability for Property Damage or Loss
The Service Provider shall take all reasonable precautions during service delivery; however, the Client acknowledges that Step Bros. Cleaning & Services, LLC and its personnel shall not be held liable for:
· - Minor, incidental, or superficial damage caused by the use of standard cleaning tools or practices;
· - Pre-existing damage, wear, or defects in furnishings, fixtures, or structural elements;
· - Loss of or damage to items not properly secured, labeled, or disclosed as fragile or high-value.
The Client agrees to remove or secure valuables, breakables, and sensitive items prior to service. The Service Provider is not responsible for lost cash, jewelry, electronics, or personal effects unless such items are proven to have been intentionally removed by its personnel, and such claims are substantiated with clear and convincing evidence.
Any claims of alleged theft or damage must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the service appointment. The Service Provider reserves the right to conduct an internal review and determine a resolution at its sole discretion.
11. Client Security Camera Encouragement & Recording Use
At Step Bros Cleaning & Services, we take pride in delivering a transparent, respectful, and confident experience. For your comfort and peace of mind, we encourage the use of your home security cameras or personal recording devices during any service or consultation.
We fully support accountability and believe mutual trust is essential. If recording our team helps you feel safer, we welcome it.
By signing this agreement, you agree that any footage recorded will be used solely for private documentation or safety purposes. You also agree not to use any recording—visual or audio—for blackmail, harassment, sexual gratification, exploitation, or public sharing without prior written consent from all involved parties.
Furthermore, you waive the right to hold Step Bros Cleaning & Services or its affiliates legally liable for any claims, damages, or disputes arising from the service provided—whether related to recorded footage, misunderstandings, or general service outcomes—except in cases of proven criminal behavior.
