FAQs for y-o-u’s

You’ve got questions. We’ve got (mostly clean) answers.

  • Not quite. We’re the B-Team — real people with big hearts who clean with care, not credentials.
We’re up front about it: we don’t have certifications, but we do have common sense, consent, and follow-through.

  • We keep our prices simple and posted. No upcharges, no shady fees.
Check out our full list HERE — most gigs start around $60/hour.

Need something we don’t list? Ask. We’re flexible.

  • Yes — for most jobs, especially cleaning.
Why? Because every space (and every person) is different. The consultation lets us match you with the right Bro(s), set expectations, and keep everyone safe and happy.

  • Yes. We bring everything we need — sprays, scrubbers, rags, and tools.
If there’s something specific you’d like us to use, just let us know during the consult.

  • Not unless you want to be.
We can coordinate access ahead of time. Safety and trust are core to how we operate.

  • We’ve evolved. While Step Bros was born with a cheeky edge, we now prioritize comfort and consent over gimmicks.
If a client and the contractor agree on a vibe (like themed outfits), that’s between them — but we never pressure, and we never objectify.

  • Yes. We’re insured, background-checked, and always down to talk about boundaries.
We’re not here to make anyone uncomfortable — just to help out and build something good.

  • We accept all major cards through our secure booking system, and we’ll send you a receipt when we’re done.
Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

  • Every gig helps fund job opportunities, care kits, and community projects through our nonprofit arm, ATACO (Austin Take A Chance Organization).
We also collect used rags and linens, and we donate part of our proceeds to causes that align with our mission.
