ODD GIGS SERVICE AGREEMENT
This Odd Gigs Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Step Bros Cleaning & Services LLC(“Step Bros,” “Contractor,” “we,” or “us”) and the individual or entity requesting services (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking an Odd Gig, the Client agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services
1.1 Step Bros agrees to perform miscellaneous non-professional tasks (“Odd Gigs”) as requested by the Client, which may include but are not limited to: errands, pet check-ins, organization, moving preparation, light event setup or cleanup, decorating, and other agreed-upon tasks.
1.2 Step Bros does not provide licensed trade services (e.g., electrical, plumbing, construction), medical or childcare services, or any unlawful, unsafe, or hazardous activities.
1.3 Step Bros reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decline, suspend, or terminate any task that falls outside of the permitted scope or creates unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate conditions.
2. Client Responsibilities
2.1 The Client shall provide Step Bros with accurate and complete information regarding the requested tasks.
2.2 The Client shall ensure safe access to the premises and disclose any hazards, including but not limited to dangerous animals, chemicals, or unsafe property conditions.
2.3 If specific tools, supplies, or materials are required to complete the requested task, the Client shall provide such items unless otherwise agreed.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Odd Gigs are billed at a standard rate of $65.00 per hour, unless otherwise quoted in writing by Step Bros prior to commencement of service.
3.2 Payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Cancellations made with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of $30.00, payable by the Client.
4. Liability & Limitations
4.1 Step Bros shall not be liable for any pre-existing damages, incidental damages, or normal wear and tear.
4.2 The Client acknowledges that Odd Gigs are non-professional services and should not be relied upon for regulated or licensed work.
4.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Step Bros’ liability arising out of or related to this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
4.4 Step Bros does not provide insurance coverage for pets, valuables, or property beyond the service period. The Client assumes all risk for leaving premises, pets, or property unattended.
5. Conduct & Consent
5.1 Step Bros emphasizes consent, safety, and respect in all services. Team members may, at their sole discretion, decline or terminate services if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, discriminatory, or harassing in nature.
5.2 The Client agrees to maintain a safe and respectful environment and to refrain from any conduct that could reasonably be deemed abusive, harassing, or unsafe.
6. Independent Contractor Status
6.1 Step Bros may perform services directly or through independent contractors engaged by Step Bros. All personnel shall operate under Step Bros’ Consent & Safety policies, but shall not be deemed employees of the Client.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
8. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with respect to Odd Gigs services and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements or understandings. No modification shall be valid unless in writing and acknowledged by both parties.
Client Acknowledgement
By booking an Odd Gig, the Client affirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
